By showing examples, Juan Pablo Zaramella will share the technique, procedure and difficulties for bringing animated characters into real-world scenes, and the use of After Effects in connection with stop motion. General Public are welcome.

In a two-day workshop, Juan Pablo Zaramella will talk about modeling plasticine, design research and techniques through practical examples, sharing experiences in how to get the best from different materials on character design. Techniques to animate with plasticine puppets will be covered too.
Participants will also practise modeling plasticine under the guidance of Juan Pablo Zaramella.
Suitable for participants with basic knowledge of animation, design or filmmaking.
Juan Pablo Zaramella
Juan Pablo Zaramella was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. All his independent shorts have been awarded all around the world.
In 2010, Annecy International Animation Festival presented a special program with a selection of his works.
His film Luminaris has won 324 awards, and the Guinness World Record for the Most Awarded Short in history, including the Audience Award and Fipresci Award at Annecy 2011, and was also Oscars Shortlisted.
In 2016 he created and directed The Tiniest Man in the World, a 52 episode series made in co-production with France and Argentina.
