HONG KONG SHORT FILM: NEW ACTION EXPRESS (NAE) has been relentlessly participating in international film markets, in a bid to foster the connections and re-warding exchanges between Hong Kong creative talent and overseas distributors, broadcasters, festival organisers and sales agents. Succeeding the positive feedbacks gained from its previous participation, NAE returns its fourth time to the biggest short film festival in Europe this year – Clermont-Ferrand Interna-tional Short Film Festival and Market.
 
The four-day Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Market (Short Film Market), will take place be-tween 3 and 6 February 2020 at Gymnase Jean & Honoré Fleury of Clermont-Ferrand, France. Aside from setting up a promotional booth at the Short Film Market, two market screenings will also be organised on 4-6 February to showcase 10 awarded Hong Kong original short films and animations, each rich in local cultural context while deals with universal and socially understandable themes, to overseas audience. NAE takes the participation of the Short Film Market as a platform to proactively introduce and promote outstanding Hong Kong original shorts and animations in international arena, while at the same time coordinates commercial meet up with overseas film practitioners and press for the attending Hong Kong creative talent in search of overseas collaboration and development opportunities.
