Kung Chi-shing

Kung Chi-shing is a composer, performer and music activist in Hong Kong. He studied classical music and composition in the United States with George Crumb and is known for his work in the music and performance group ‘The Box’, which he founded with Peter Suart in 1987. Kung has curated concerts and performances comprise different genres of music and arts at different venues, including non-traditional concert locations. He has collaborated frequently with choreographers, directors and theatre artists, and has performed his music in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, Cuba, Tashkent, New York, London, Berlin and Venice. Between 2009-2017, with the support of Hong Kong Arts Centre, ‘Street Music Series’ has organized more than 300 free outdoor concerts in various locations with great success.

 

Winnie Tsang

Winnie Tsang was the General Manager of Panasia Films Limited and later a Board Director of Golden Harvest Entertainment (Holdings) Limited from 1989 to 1998. She founded the Golden Scene Company Limited in 1998, which is renowned for its diverse lineup including mainstream and the award winning films. Starting in 2007, Golden Scene ventured into film production. It also promotes international distribution of the Hong Kong films. She founded Hong Kong Kids International Film Festival in 2017, aiming to nurture children to appreciate films for inspiration and creativity. She has always been an avid supporter of young filmmakers in Hong Kong. Golden Scene has distributed 25 films by new directors including 19 received Best New Directors nominations with 6 wins at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

 

Fiona Wong

Fiona Wong graduated from the University of East Anglia and later obtained her MFA degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She received a Starr Foundation award from the Asian Cultural Council in 2000 and was elected as a member of the International Academy of Ceramics in Geneva in 2007.  She has been an expert advisor for Hong Kong Museums since 2014. In 2017, she was granted an Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Arts and Culture award by Home Affairs Bureau, and was named Hong Kong Arts Development Award Artist of the Year. Her work Blue Wings was acquired by The British Museum in 2018. Wong is a Senior Lecturer at the Hong Kong Art School.
