The 29th ifva Awards Presentation Ceremony
Organised by Hong Kong Arts Centre, the 29th ifva Awards Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on March 17th 2024 at Louis Koo Cinema Hong Kong Arts Centre. The event showcased a dreamlike viewing experience that blended elements of documentary, fiction, and experimental work. Entries were received from numerous Asian countries and regions, including China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Azerbaijan, Iran, and India, totaling over 600 submissions across the categories of short films, animations, and media art. After lively discussions by the respective juries, a total of 19 awards were presented across the five ifva competition categories: Open, Youth, Animation, Asian New Force, and Media Art. Special thanks go to the jurors, all the participating creators, the audience, and our honorable sponsors. We hope the creators will continue to focus on the core of their creativity, and radiate their brightest brilliance like a 'kaleidoscope'!
