Voice of Tacitness: Asian Women Photography

Hong Kong Arts Centre in collaboration with the Hong Kong International Photo Festivalagain to present you one of the major exhibitions, Voice of Tacitness in the third year of the festival. The opening ceremony was successfully held this evening (October 18, 2014), and the exhibition will take place from October 19 until November 2, 2014 at the Pao Galleries and the Experimental Gallery in Hong Kong Arts Centre.

 

The exhibition brings to Hong Kong photographic works by 13 female photographers from 11 Asian developing countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan for instance, where women’s rights and statuses are largely suppressed. The photographs focus on equal rights for women with a humanitarian touch.
