To elevate the Hong Kong Arts Centre has always been my vision and goal.

With the approach of "Art March”, Hong Kong Arts Centre seizes this great opportunity to host the large-scale art fair "Collect Hong Kong", which has become one of the important art events in "Art March" and the only major event focused on promoting local artists.

This art fair coincides with the launch of the government's blueprint for the development of arts, culture, and creative industries. The blueprint emphasises the integration of culture, sports and tourism with a market-oriented approach that nurtures the arts and creative industries with the aim to promote Hong Kong as a hub for East-West cultural exchange. This aligns closely with the mission of Hong Kong Arts Centre and lays a solid foundation for hosting "Collect Hong Kong." As a successful extension of “Collectible Art Fair” in 2023, "Collect Hong Kong" aspires to help local artists expand into international markets and fosters the evolution of culture and art.

The event brings together artists from Hong Kong's top art institutions that include the Hong Kong Art School, the Academy of Creative Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University, School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Design Institute, along with members of the Hong Kong Sculpture and friends of the Hong Kong Arts Centre. "Collect Hong Kong" not only facilitates communication among artists but also attracts participation from tourists and the public by showcasing the unique charm of East-meets-West arts in Hong Kong, enhancing mass appreciation of local art and enriching the city’s cultural spirit.
