“No one ever steps into the same river twice, for it's not the same river and they're not the same person. Everything is in flux, everything is constantly changing, and nothing remains still.” – Ancient philosopher Heraclitus
This quote represents the idea that everything is constantly changing and emerging, highlighting the flow of time and the transient nature of existence, while subtly shaping our true essence. The three years that we got together seems long but is ephemeral: this carrying of our days of learning, creating, and practicing at the Hong Kong Art School. “Ephemeral” metaphorically represents our growth in our art journey and the essence of observing impermanent objects. Through the process of observation and learning, we gradually approach the essence of life.
