Launched in 2006, the Summer International Film Festival (Summer IFF) targets to showcase the latest festival titles and the most talked-about contemporary films, thematic retrospectives, and restored classics to a younger audience in August every year. Summer IFF hopes to inspire an early interest in the cinematic arts and incubate a new generation of festival audiences for Cine Fan and the Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF).
