【 Hong Kong Arts Centre X Pants Theatre Production】 Urban Space Participatory Theatre

Supported by Urban Renewal Authority and  commissioned by Hong Kong Arts Centre, Pants Theatre Production explores the social issues of To Kwa Wan based on the context of the applied theatre, so as to develop a participatory theatre entitled “Urban Space Participatory Theatre", discovering the possibilities of the future use of public space in our urban city.

Overview

The Ark has been floating on the sea for many years. A dove reports the discovery of a new land. All animals are excited to go out of the cabin and feel the ground underneath their feet. Who knows the trial has just begun…

In this participatory theatre, the audience will be transformed into different animals in the Ark, experiencing the ups and downs of discovering the new world. They will also imagine and rethink the use of public space, hence building an ideal community.
