Doodle Art Workshops
This Christmas, the Hong Kong Arts Centre will organise a series of unique workshops for children and teenagers, allowing them to experience the warm and festive ambience from a distinctive artistic perspective.
The workshops include ART Factory's Picture Book X Creative Dance Workshop, which inspires children to explore their bodies through storytelling and creativity; Doodle Transformation workshop, which turns children’s doodles into wearable and shareable artworks by foam plate printing; and the mirror painting workshop, where participants will use acrylic paint to create vibrant Christmas-themed artwork on mirrors.
Through these exciting art activities, you will understand the meaning of Christmas from a unique perspective and create unforgettable holiday memories.

Get inspired by turning a real mirror into a festive work of art!
In this mirror art workshop, participants will use acrylic paint to create colourful Christmas artwork on mirrors. You can learn layout and composition techniques while designing colourful Christmas creations directly onto the reflective glass surface. Mix paint colours to capture the festival’s spirit in your one-of-a-kind mirror artwork.
After the workshop, display your hand-painted mirror in your home to spread holiday cheer!

Immerse yourself in a delightful and imaginative creative process, as we transform your doodles into wearable and shareable artworks using foam plate printing.
In this workshop, you will design vibrant doodle artworks and carve them onto foam plates. You will then coat the carved plates with ink and press them onto paper, transferring your doodle designs onto the surface. From design and carving to printing, you will actively participate in every step of this doodle creation journey, turning imagination into reality.
As a grand finale, you will also have the opportunity to print your creations on tote bags, making it the warmest gift to give and adding more meaning to your Christmas memories!

Welcome to the mesmerising world where imagination meets art!
In this interactive workshop, we invite children to experience the enchantment of a dimly lit room illuminated only by flashlights. Surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colourful and diverse translucent plastic sheets, they will awaken their senses and embark on a quest to find specific colours and shapes. Through spontaneous chalk drawings and puzzle-solving, they will piece together a visual mosaic. Finally, they will create mesmerising kaleidoscope designs by spraying water bottles onto the sheets.
