Exhibition Introduction

In the collaboration with Art Shop from Hong Kong Arts Centre, Comix Pulse is presenting Illustrator Caco’s Solo Exhibition, Blue Moment.

This is the first exhibition of illustrator Caco in Hong Kong. The exhibition title BLUE MOMENT refers to the brief period before sunrise or after sunset when the sky and landscape are gently tinted blue. In this exhibition, Caco presents works created between 2024 and 2026 from her solo and group exhibitions with each piece carries emotions that could only be captured in that particular moment, along with shades of blue. Within this short span of exhibition time, the artist hopes audiences to enjoy the sense of calm and transparency brought by the shifting blue.

Comix Pulse holds its ongoing mission to bring diverse comics and illustration voices into the Hong Kong art scene. By curating exhibitions with artists across different regions and cultural backgrounds, Comix Pulse creates a space where local audiences can encounter new visual languages and storytelling styles, and nurture fresh perspectives while supporting creators on an international stage.

About Comix Pulse

We are thrilled to announce that the Hong Kong Arts Centre (Comix Home Base) is now hosting the ‘Comix Pulse – Feel the Heartbeat of Tomorrow’s Comix’ from January 2026! Comix Pulse aims to spotlight the unique voices of emerging and existing comic and illustration book artists in Hong Kong. The programme provides a platform for artists to explore storytelling through visual narratives, culminating in a solo exhibition that showcases their creative process and final work. We are excited for all talented comic-illustration-artists in joining us. They will have the opportunity to present a solo exhibition of your works in the 2/F Comix Home Base of the Hong Kong Arts Centre and participate in public engagement activities (e.g., artist talks, workshops, live drawing). This is a fantastic opportunity to demystify your creative process and build meaningful connections between artists and the public.
