Taught by renowned photographer Mr. Francis So, who is famous for filming time-lapse movies and garnered international awards. The Time-Lapse course sheds light on the pre- and post-production processes of time-lapse photography and videos of night scenes and sunsets, while the Starfield one provides a stellar opportunity to understand camera settings like long exposure techniques for creating a personal masterpiece.
📷 Introduction to Cultural Landscape Photography: Ruins and Old Districts, Tribute to Photography Masters
Taught by photographic lecturer Mr So Hing Keung, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) in Photographic Design from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The first courses will lead students to various locations for practical sessions, focusing on ruins and old districts that are typically difficult to access. The latter course will cover the history of photography, discuss various materials and tools as well as the works and techniques of photographers in different eras. Students will ultimately select a photographer as their study subject and produce their own unique photo series.
All-new Kids Corner photography course start with “Kids’ Photography 101”. It’s a comprehensive gem of photography fundamentals such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO and EV with the composition concepts, basic colour management and camera operation – which also includes a tutor-led photography walk in the city. Kids will be immersed in experimentation with the camera’s light and shadow to create a picture, bringing what they learn into life. The course is taught by Mr. Carl Tsang, president of Asia’s most prestigious photography institute - Hong Kong Institute of Professional Photographers (HKIPP), and cameras will be supported by Panasonic in the lesson.
