Comix Arts Fest 2025 - Art Pop-up Store – Call for Entry
The Hong Kong Arts Centre (Comix Home Base) is excited to announce the Comix Arts Fest 2025, taking place from July to August this year. This series of events, featuring the Art Pop-up Stores, aims to introduce the aesthetics of comix art to a wider audience. This new initiative provides a unique platform to showcase and sell their books and creative products, while also fostering direct engagement with art enthusiasts and visitors. Join us for a celebration of creativity and innovation in the world of comix!
Event Details:
- Event Date: 13 - 31 August 2025
- Event Time: 3:00 pm - 8:00pm (13 August 2025) & 12:00am – 8:00pm (14 - 31 August 2025)
- Venue: G/F & 2-4/F, Hong Kong Arts Centre (2 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong)
- Time Slot and Rental Fee:

- 13 - 20 August 2025 – Rental Fee for 8 Days: $900 + Refundable Deposit: $500
- 13 - 31 August 2025 – Rental Fee for 19 Days: $1,500 + Refundable Deposit: $500
*The deposit will be refunded after the event.
- Art Pop-up Store Size: 60cm X 120cm (with a tablecloth and two chairs)
Exhibitor Guidelines:
- Exhibitors are required to submit a product list along with product photos when submitting application form.
- Only original design products are permitted for sale. Derivative works are not allowed.
- Products containing sexual or violence content will not be accepted.
- Original hand-drawn artworks are not allowed for sale in the Art Pop-up Store.
- All the products intended for sale during the Art Pop-up Store must be approved by Hong Kong Arts Centre (HKAC). HKAC reserves the right to make the final decision on both exhibitor selection and product selling.
- Comic artists/illustrators are required to attend their Art Pop-up Stores in-person to interact with readers and visitors, as well as for book signings and other activities on Saturday and Sunday, minimum of 4 hours per day. Comic artists/illustrators may choose to delegate someone to manage their Art Pop-up Store on the other days.
- All Art Pop-up Store assignments are determined and allocated by Hong Kong Arts Centre. Exhibitors do not have the right to select position of their Art Pop-up Store.
- Art Pop-up Store availability is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Hong Kong Arts Centre reserves the right of final decision.
