Discover the Heart of Our Community Engagement
This year, ALL ABOUT US reaffirms its dedication to showcasing the experiences of local minority groups. We invite everyone to participate in a series of engaging events designed to deepen your understanding of Hong Kong's diverse communities, promoting social cohesion.
The ALL ABOUT US exhibition is excited to collaborate with a gifted mural artist of mixed Chinese and Pakistani descent. Attendees will have the rare chance to engage in meaningful conversations with the artist during guided tours, exploring the intricacies of life through artistic expression and embracing the idea of unity, thus connecting art with daily life. Additionally, we are proud to partner for the first time with The Salvation Army's "Hi! Strangers" programme, offering a variety of community tours led by local Pakistani youth. These enriching experiences will take you through the lively Wan Chai district, where you can witness the personal stories and cultural backgrounds of Hong Kong's minority communities. Furthermore, we will host several "Human Library" sessions, where participants will become living books focused on the theme of "food," fostering dialogue and sharing while celebrating the richness of cultural exchange.
Seize this incredible opportunity! We strongly encourage you to mark these events on your calendar, as they present a rare chance to explore the rich and diverse multicultural insights that Hong Kong has in store for you.

Diverse Culinary Culture x Human Library
This year, the "Human Library" is making a triumphant return to the ALL ABOUT US! This groundbreaking concept allows us to "read" people just as we would books. Our theme this time centers around "food," intricately weaving it with the rich cultures and lifestyles of various communities. We warmly invite young filmmakers from minority backgrounds to share their stories related to food, delving into the beautiful intersection of cuisine and culture. Participants will have the chance to savor dishes they may have never encountered before — such as spiced rice and curry puffs, along with refreshing Indian chai. By engaging in this experience, they will explore the vibrant tapestry of Hong Kong's multicultural landscape and uncover a unique and diverse culinary scene! Additionally, we are collaborating with another initiative from the Hong Kong Arts Centre, "RE: Tai Kok Tsui" programme, which connects diverse communities through creative films made by ALL ABOUT US participants. This project highlights local shops in the Tai Kok Tsui area, showcasing ethnic delicacies and using the power of visual storytelling to share the narratives of minority groups, fostering community engagement and multicultural exchange.
Let's savor delicious food! Let's raise a glass! Let's engage in lively conversations!
