The three workshops are FULL.
In this event, three tutors of the Art for All short courses will demonstrate art-making through various art mediums. Participants will be able to create their own artworks and digital images, and also get an initial taste of different art mediums. It is open to all who love art, especially those who hope to gain hands-on studio practicing experience.
Online Art Tasting (Art for All)

2:00pm – 2:30pm ∣ Get Started in Painting
Tutor: Phillip HUI
Participants can print out or save the tutor’s demonstration artwork in iPad in advance. During the workshop, the tutor will steps by steps teach the participants from drawing the draft to completing the painting.
Participants can use oil paint, acrylic paint, poster colour or colour pencils as painting materials. Besides, please prepare drawing paper, small drawing boards, pencils and rubbers for this session.

2:40pm – 3:10pm ∣ Plant Pounding

Utilizing fresh plants, flowers, grasses and leaves, etc., participants will be able to print the natural pigments of the objects onto the fabrics through a simple and interesting process.
Participants should prepare in advance: flowers, grasses, leaves, white or light-coloured cotton cloth, one or two plastic folders, mallets or coins, a bowl of water and coarse salt. Note: The plants can be fresh fallen leaves on the ground, flowers for Chinese New Year, herbs or vegetables, etc.

3:20pm – 3:50pm ∣ Digital Image Processing with Coding
Tutor : Lazarus CHAN
The tutor will teach the participants to use elementary coding techniques for digital image processing. It is suitable for beginners.
Participants need to prepare a computer that can connect to the Internet, also a digital image file, for example, .jpg and .png files.
The basic computer requirements are as follows:

System : Microsoft Windows 10 / MacOS 10.12 Sierra
RAM : 8GB
