Senior Finance Manager
Job Duties
- Lead the team to provide overall financial functions including AP, AR, expenses review, financial reporting, cash flow management etc.
- Act as a strategic business partner providing financial insights and modelling to management in order to facilitate the decision making of different projects and long-term development initiatives of the organisation.
- Actively involve in different finance initiatives e.g. fundraising exercises, project financing etc.
- Ensure all month-end and year-end closing processes including reviewing schedules, reconciliations as well as the reporting are completed timely.
- Drive annual budgetary process and compile financial budget.
- Review management reports, financial analyses, budget performance reports etc and provide variance explanations for management.
- Manage external audit engagements and lead the audit planning, coordination, issue resolution and implementation of recommendations.
- Participate in Board and Committee meetings and take the lead to prepare meeting materials. Directly liaise with Finance Committee for all finance matters.
- Review and formulate effective accounting policies, internal control system and workflows to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Plan, lead and drive the implementation of the new finance system and automation of other processes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, highlight risks and identify opportunities to minimize risks.
- Coach and build the capabilities of the finance team.
- Any ad hoc tasks or projects assigned by superior.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
- At least 8 years' relevant experience with minimum 5 years in managerial level.
- Member of HKICPA or ACCA or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience working within large-scale, multi-stakeholder or complex organisational environments, exposure to the education sector is definitely an advantage.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and management accounting.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent execution, organisation and problem solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly self-motivated to work independently and drive for results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Project Officer, Fundraising & Membership
Job Duties
- Assist Fundraising Manager to plan, develop and execute HKAC fundraising programmes and activities ranging from charity galas, golf event, art auctioning event etc.
- Assist to prepare fundraising event proposals.
- Collect and analyze fundraising event data.
- Follow through after events with event wrap up, logistics and donor communications.
- Execute and implement new initiatives and projects managed by ED Office.
- Assist to prepare and develop proposals and presentation decks to facilitate communications with different stakeholders in fund applications if needed.
- Work closely with other team members and external parties during project planning and execution to ensure high project quality.
- Any ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager.
- Assist Fundraising Manager to develop and grow HKAC membership programmes.
- Participate in planning and organising high-quality year-round events and marketing campaigns to engage existing members, recruit new members, and to enhance the overall membership experience.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders and collaborative partners.
- Prepare analytical reports on event and membership activities.
- Handle members' enquiries, requests and complaints.
- Perform various administrative duties, including but not limited to maintaining member databases, preparing correspondence, managing event calendars etc.
Requirements
- Degree or above holder in marketing, communications, public relations, event management, or other relevant disciplines.
- At least 2 years of related work experience, and experience in event management will be an added advantage.
- Strong team player with excellent execution and problem-solving skills, also able to work independently with self-motivation and a detailed mind.
- Multi-tasking with good organisational and time management skills
- Proactive, outgoing and presentable; able to communicate at all levels.
- Excellent writing and communications skills in both Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office including word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Senior Programme Officer (Comix Home Base)
Job Duties
• Proactively monitor project milestones, schedules, quality standards, and budgets to ensure all deliverables are met on time.
• Manage comprehensive art administration tasks, including the drafting of project proposals, budgets, agreements, and detailed progress reports. Coordinate and execute promotional activities and marketing strategies for assigned visual arts projects.
• Cultivate and maintain constructive professional relationships with local and overseas artists, cultural organisations, and partners.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required to support the efficiency of the department.
Requirements
• A demonstrable interest in visual arts and the broader cultural landscape e.g. cross-disciplinary art, comics etc.
• Proven experience in art exhibition and event coordination.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and the resilience to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills and confidence in working with various partners as a team.
• Self-motivated, well-organised, detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and writing skills in both Chinese and English. Putonghua will be an advantage.
• Experience in using design software, e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva. Basic video editing software is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in P.C. operations, e.g. MS-based applications, Chinese Word Processing.
• Willing to work on public holidays occasionally.

Job Duties
- Work as receptionist and shop keeper in the Art Shop.
- Handle customer enquiries and provide information for visitors.
- Maintain smooth daily operation of the shop.
- Perform sales transaction and inventory management.

Requirements

Job Duties
- Provide ushering and front of house service in theatres, assist in house rules and regulations enforcement
- Perform effective communication with patrons, guests and venue hirers
- Assist in crowd control to ensure smooth running of events and activities
- Handle enquiries and provide high standard of customer services for venue visitors
- Assist in facilities management for maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment for all venue users
- Update signage / poster/ publicity material for the public in the premises
- Assist with other functions as instructed by Duty Manager
Requirements
- Holder of HKDSE or above with relevant experience in customer services is an advantage
- Pleasant, energetic, extrovert and willing to help customers
- Good communication skills with proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Over the years, Hong Kong Arts Centre has offered opportunities to local and overseas university students to gain an exciting and fulfilling experience through our internship and volunteer schemes. Our internship programme provides an excellent opportunity for their students to explore their potential through hands-on work experience, gaining exposure to the different aspects in the operation of the Hong Kong Arts Centre. The learning experience is a stepping stone to a promising future in arts administration and arts education.

Volunteer
Are you art lovers? Do you have time to spare? Join the Hong Kong Arts Centre as a volunteer! Our volunteers come from a variety backgrounds, helping with events and programmes and providing administrative support to the Hong Kong Arts Centre. They are also trained to give docent tours. Volunteers can participate in various types of service, depending on their knowledge, interest and availability. No previous experience is required. Let us know your availability.

- Fluent in at least one of the following languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, English; and
