There is something about clay that has always appealed to kids — its tactility, its ooey-gooey texture against the fingers and hands, and of course... the endless possibilities to create fantastic pieces of art! In this course, kids will get creative with clay using the pottery wheel - just like the pros! 

 

- Learn drawing, trimming and glazing techniques 

- Improve concentration and patience through the drawing process  

- Showcase individual creativity in decoration and glazing

Tutor 

Joey LAI graduated from the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) programme co-presented by Hong Kong Art School and RMIT University, majoring in ceramics. She has been a joint part of several ceramic exhibitions in Hong Kong and overseas, and held her solo exhibition <Still Movements> in 2014.
