ifva partners with Google to promote local film culture - Hong Kong Search Stories

March 16 @ agnès b. CINEMA, Hong Kong Arts Center

Hong Kong Arts Centre’s ifva partners with Google to present a series of short films, “Hong Kong Search Stories”, through the 18th ifva greenlab commissioning project . The collaboration aims to provide a nurturing environment and creative opportunities to talented homegrown directors. Three ifva (Incubator for Film & Visual media in Asia) award-winning directors have documented three heartwarming tales of individuals in Hong Kong who explore and realize their dreams with Google Search as the common thread.

The three ifva award-winning directors, Jessey Tsang Tsui-shan, Ming-kai Leung and Chris Ng Ho-yin, directed the “Hong Kong Search Stories” series, consisting of three short films: Search for the Taste Buds, Search for the Dream of the Red Pavilion, and Search for the Tourbillion. The three stories are constructed in completely different settings but they are all stories of real people’s positive hopes and dreams

The three short films will be shown as an additional showcase in the ifva Award Presentation Ceremony on March 16, 2013 (Saturday),  7:30pm in the agnès b. CINEMA.
