【Hong Kong Arts Centre】 Hong Kong Art School’s Pao Haung Sue Ing Campus - multi-purpose studio will be named as “HKSH Medical Group Multi-Purpose Studio” effective from Feb 5, 2017
Being an independent, pioneering and self-funded art organisation in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Arts Centre has always been dedicated to promote art education to the community. Hong Kong Arts Centre officially established Hong Kong Art School in Year 2000 as a division of the Centre to spearhead development in this important aspect. Close to two decades, the School has successfully developed as an accredited art institution providing a comprehensive range of well-recognised academic programmes, with award-bearing curriculum lying in four core academic areas, namely, Fine Art, Applied Art, Media Art, and Applied Theatre & Drama Education, and its scope covering programmes with academic levels ranging from Higher Diploma, Professional Diploma, Bachelor Degree to Master Degree, outreaching art to the community.
Hong Kong Arts Centre has always initiated fund-raising campaigns calling for donations from different unique organizations and entities in the community in order to support the long-term development of the School and to sustain its extensive art promotion and art education programmes throughout the years. With deep gratitude and appreciation, Hong Kong Arts Centre particularly would like to extend its thanks to the HKSH Medical Group this year for supporting the development of the Hong Kong Art School. To honor their generous support, Hong Kong Arts Centre will name the multi-purpose studio located on the G/F of Hong Kong Art School’s Pao Haung Sue Ing Campus after the donor as HKSH Medical Group Multi-Purpose Studio effective from Feb 5, 2017, for 2 years.
