Hong Kong Arts Centre(HKAC) will be presenting to the art lovers the first season of HKAC ART Factory starting from 18th October, 2020 to 8th January, 2021. The programme finally got its way to commence after this critical period of the Coronavirus pandemic in the past few months.

Being an active member in fostering artistic exchange, HKAC puts forward the exchange between artists and people in the community, regardless their identities as professional artists, performers or total beginners. As a platform for co-creation, the HKAC ART Factory aims to explore playful ideas and test oneself in a unique context under the lead of curated artists, and HKAC will be transformed into a creative hub overflowing with artistic spirits.

The first season of HKAC ART Factory will feature four series of workshops spanning across body alignment; contemporary dance; mindfulness sound bathing and creative writing, offered by contemporary dance choreographer Yang Hao (Flying Low) and Sarah Xiao (Body Movement); musician and sound artist Shane Aspegren (Sound, Mind and Matter), as well as Theatre Playwright & Actress Santayana Li (Morning Espresso Writing). Participants will be shared and guided throughout the journey in the world of arts.
