ifva was founded by the Hong Kong Arts Centre in 1995. Over the years, ifva has established itself as Asia's pioneering force in short film, animation and media arts, by providing a unique and professional platform for Hong Kong and Asian creative talents to unite, exchange and promote their works.
Hong Kong Arts Centre (HKAC) reached our 29th milestone for ifva this year. In light of recent developments in short films, the ongoing influence of media arts, and the rise of social media platforms. we have decided to take a brief hiatus of ifva to reassess and adjust our future direction. During this period, we will be working diligently behind the scenes, crafting a new model that keeps pace with current trends and meets your evolving needs. We deeply grateful for your support and enthusiastic participation in ifva over the past 29 years.
Moving forward, we remained committed to our mission of nurturing creativity and showcasing talent. We encourage you to explore and engage with the diverse range of activities and programmes HKAC continues to offer. Together, we can foster a vibrant and dynamic arts ecosystem in our community.
Your unwavering support has been invaluable to us, and we are truly thankful for it. We assure you that we are putting our utmost effort into this period of reflection and renewal. We eagerly look forward to reuniting with you in the near future to unveil and celebrate the next exciting chapter of ifva together.
