100 Spices, 100 Lives of Cho Yiu
Telling stories with taste? Share everyone's stories in the Cho Yiu community, guide everyone to uses the metaphor of a spice blend to engage the community in sharing their stories and exploring the range of emotions within them, and prepare and grind your own spice bottles together!
“Art of Dumplings” Creative Dumpling workshop
Even making dumplings can tell a story! The food design team Deep food invites everyone to have fun while eating and create creative recipes for the "Art of Dumplings" that belong to the Cho Yiu community! Deep food will lead everyone to try dumplings to express their feelings and share your experience and affection in the Cho Yiu community.
“Art of Dumplings” Community Interactive Theater
How many stories of the Cho Yiu community can one dumpling hold? The interactive theater experience combines creative recipes and multi-sensory performances. Starting from dumpling making, immerse yourself in the shared memories and diverse experiences of Cho Yiu residents! We invite residents in creating this community interactive theater, featuring creative recipes from “Art of Dumplings” and real stories from the residents."
'Recipe Publication'
A series activities of Deep food@Cho Yiu were recorded in the 'Recipe Publication' jointly published with various parties, and was released during the 2024 annual festival. Click below to browse the online version.
The story collection is divided into three main themes. It not only shares the memories of residents since the project began but also includes human stories related to food discovered during the project's progress. Additionally, it features creative recipe inspired by the community's story, along with small exercises for exploring the future to support the residents' physical and mental well-being.

A Mind-friendly Estate Model at Cho Yiu Chuen
Funded by Lee Hysan Foundation, the two-year initiative, “A Mind-friendly Estate Model at Cho Yiu Chuen”, began in November 2022 with the objectives of strengthening the community bonds and the "330 well-being" of the residents in Cho Yiu Chuen.
The project aims at connecting the community, promoting mental wellness with our ambassadors, and engaging the residents through the power of art!
