ALL ABOUT US 2021/22

ALL ABOUT US continues to provide a creative media education programme for ethnic minority youths in Hong Kong. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Creative Training Camp was cancelled, and yet the Young Filmmakers Programme was held. The selected applicants were the director and/ or screenwriter to in-charge of, provide insight on and lead the team in short film production, from story ideas and screenplay to casting, directing and post-production. The professional filmmakers were assigned to the applicants and provide interactive mentoring sessions to produce a 15-minute short film. Eventually, the short films were showcased publicly at the ALL ABOUT US Film Festival 2022.

3 applicants were selected to participate in the Young Filmmakers Programme. The 3 talented young filmmakers recruited their own crew members under the guidance of the teaching artists. ALL ABOUT US young filmmakers worked out 3 short films, covering a wide range of genres, such as romance, action, youth, etc.
