Cats is a musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on T.S. Eliot's collection of poems titled Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats. The story centers around a group of cats called the Jellicles, who gather for their annual Jellicle Ball.
During this event, the wise and elderly cat, Old Deuteronomy, selects one cat to ascend to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a new life. Cats takes turns introducing themselves through song and dance, revealing their unique personalities and stories.
