From Page to Stage
Hong Kong Players' Ten-Minute Plays Festival is back for the fourth time! We are proud to revive a crowd favourite – an evening of short plays and monologues to celebrate and showcase some of our renowned actors and directors, and to introduce some fantastic new talent.
This time around, the theme is "From Page to Stage" – whether you are a playwright, aspiring actor, director, or simply love theatre, all the pieces presented this year have a theatrical theme, and they include locally written material and a world premiere “The Butcher” by Andrew Biss!
Good, bad, ugly, hilarious – From Page to Stage promises to entertain you and, for those who have never trod the boards themselves, may shed light on the experiences and passion that drive and shape the writers, actors and directors who make theatre what it is.
