Get Ready to Shine: Join the Junior Docent Programme!
Embark on a transformative journey beyond the classroom with the Hong Kong Arts Centre’s Junior Docent Programme.
Designed for students entering Primary 4 to 6 in September 2025, this exclusive programme offers a unique opportunity to cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and public speaking skills, while exploring modern artistic expressions through comics and illustration.
Participants will engage with original works by renowned comic artists and illustrators and other established creators.
Through approximately 12 hours of intensive summer training, students will gain valuable insights into art exhibition curation and the cultural narratives that inspire these artworks. They will explore how comics intersect with local and global pop culture, and learn to confidently present their research and creative interpretations.
The programme concludes with a once-in-a-lifetime experience, where students will shine as they present their work to VIPs and government officials at the Comix Arts Fest 2025 Opening Ceremony.
