The 28th and 29th ifva Awards Highlights x MovieBloc Special Online Showcase
Founded by the Hong Kong Arts Centre in 1995, ifva (Incubator for Film and Visual Media in Asia) is the longest-running short film competition in Hong Kong, aimed at discovering and nurturing emerging talents in independent film and media art in Hong Kong and Asia.
Ahead of the 30th ifva Festival, audiences are invited to first revisit the award-winning works from the 28th and 29th editions. This September, partnering with MovieBloc, ifva is presenting a special online showcase of 16 award-winning short films and animations from the 28th and 29th ifva Awards, featuring works from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Macao, India, Iran, and beyond.
Audiences worldwide can enjoy these distinctive works online for a limited time, exploring bold storytelling, diverse cultural perspectives, and contemporary concerns from filmmakers across the region.
