The lighthouse is a symbol of security and hope, a luminous beacon that safeguards the people and vessels at sea. This production is inspired by Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse. Woolf is best known for her stream of consciousness writing style, to depict and explore the complexity of struggles experienced by various characters. Men in the Lighthouse will examine the anxieties induced by gender, sex, marriage, kinship, through the lens of men and women. The lighthouse is here to enlighten their paths - but do they see it as a guiding force? Or are they blinded by the light?
